Hi All,
As we come to the end of another calendar year, we can look back proudly on our accomplishments as some of our longer-term projects come to a close.
With that being said, we have an exciting list of new projects starting in the new year with Georgiou Moorebank, Captains Flat and Defence Williamtown for our water treatment team. While our civil team will be starting at Willow Tree on the new landfill extension, Kempt Field Gas Extraction project and the Construction of Five Car Parks and Access Roads around the Tweed Shire for Tweed Shire Council. We will also be returning to the Moree Landfill to conduct repairs after a fire damaged the liner cell. It’s going to be a very busy start to 2025 with these new projects while also closing out Pinkenba, Orange and Environ Road in the first half of the year.
Thank you for your continued commitment to making our workplaces safer and an enjoyable environment to work in. We look forward coming into 2025 refreshed and ready for another exciting year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

In the event of a plant rollover or collision, wearing a seatbelt increases your chance of survival by approximately 50% and greatly reduces the risk of injury. Mobile plant are fitted with a Rollover Protection Structure (ROPS) that reduces the possibility of a seat belted operator from being crushed in the event of a machine rollover.
The chances of a plant operator being fatally injured are 25 times greater than if they remain in the machine during a rollover event while wearing a seatbelt.

Viva Energy Australia Terminal Pinkenba Fire Fighting Training Paddock (FFTP), was found to have PFAS contamination in groundwater during biannual monitoring, leading to an Environmental Protection Order. Synergy was contracted to manage dewatering and treatment of contaminated material, procure PFAS-free drainage rock and backfill, and construct a GCL-lined bridging layer with site shaping and vegetation for runoff management. Backfill and treated water specifications meet 99% Species Protection Level DGV. Despite challenges like excessive rainfall, work progresses with adaptive management.
