Synergy was engaged by School Infrastructure NSW to undertake a targeted program of structural and refurbishment works at Chatham Public School, designed to improve the safety, accessibility, and functionality of key learning areas.
The project encompassed structural repairs to the existing communications block, upgrades to Practical Activity Areas (PAA), classrooms, and staff amenities.
A key component included the compliant removal and disposal of approximately 300m2 of bonded asbestos, carried out under strict environmental and WHS protocols.
Stakeholder collaboration was central to the project’s success, with careful planning and execution ensuring minimal disruption to school operations. The result is a safer, more inclusive learning environment that supports both teaching and student wellbeing.
Synergy successfully delivered Chatham Public School’s modernisation, including structural upgrades, refurbishments and asbestos removal, on time and within budget, creating accessible, safe and modern learning spaces.
