Georgiou Group engaged Synergy to treat surface and groundwater impacted by PFAS and Metals from construction activities on the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct West Project for onsite reuse and discharge.

Synergy’s water treatment plants operated in the most challenging of site conditions. Treating both PFAS and Metals to ANZECC 95% as well as managing pH and Suspended Solids. Synergy has treated over 650 million litres of PFAS contaminated water with zero exceedances.

Operating across a large site, Synergy deployed four 10L/s water treatment plants. These were purpose-built to manage the volumes of water encountered onsite, ensuring minimal disruption to the construction activities.

A 4km water transfer system was installed to connect existing water treatment plants (WTPs) reducing relocation costs to the client and minimising disruption to on site activities.
