Synergy was engaged to complete the construction of the Cell 9 batter lining works, including material crushing, subbase preparation, and installation of the lining system.Synergy was engaged to complete the construction of the Cell 9 batter lining works at the Summerhill Waste Management Centre, working in close collaboration with the City of Newcastle to ensure successful project delivery.
The scope of works included the crushing and screening of onsite material, preparation of the subbase, and installation of the geosynthetic lining system.
All works were carried out in accordance with the NSW EPA guidelines, with a strong focus on environmental compliance and quality assurance. Throughout the project, Synergy liaised closely with a third-party CQA Engineer to ensure full certification and adherence to technical specifications.
