Induced Collapse

Applying sound competency and proven methodology, prioritising safety and dismantling optimisation techniques.

Induced collapse involves the systematic and sequential removal of key structural members, complemented by the application of force, to result in the controlled collapse of all or part of a building or structure. Synergy’s competency methods primarily cover those used on detached, isolated structures on reasonably level sites.

Synergy ensures that the space around structures being demolished is sufficient to contain the collapsed material, as well as large enough for equipment and personnel to be removed to a safe distance prior to the collapse. We prioritise safety by minimising the need for prolonged work activity by individuals on a deteriorating and dangerous structure. We ensure the structure is collapsed to ground level quickly and efficiently, enabling it to be safely dismantled on the ground, rather than dismantled in sections at height.
