Work on the next stage of Orange City Council’s landfill facility will start in 2024.

“The purpose-built waste site was designed with a series of giant landfill cells, each as big as two football fields and four metres deep,” Evans said. “Rather than simply dumping the waste in a hole, residential landfill waste is compressed into cubic metre bales in Orange and then transported to the site to be stacked in rows. Orange City Council’s Environmental Sustainability Committee Chair, Councillor David Mallard, said the design of the waste facility continues to be pioneering.

Wauchope Public School Carpark

Wauchope Public School Carpark

Synergy were engaged by School Infrastructure NSW to construct a 33 bay carpark at Wauchope Public School. Wauchope Public School is located on a busy block within the town of Wauchope NSW and has had limited parking options for faculty. The project scope included installation of a 33 bay car park, access roads and infrastructure, including significant site preparation, excavation, stormwater/bio retention, lighting, fencing asphaltic concrete and concrete pavement works.
