Synergy have designed, constructed and are operating a solids dewatering and water treatment system for the John Holland and Seymour Whyte, Sydney Gateway Project, in Tempe.  This bespoke multistage system dewaters solids from site wide non-destructive digging works. The decanted liquids are then treated to remove contaminants of concern.

Synergy has successfully added ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems to the list of its Integrated EHSQ Management System third-party certifications.  ISO 45001 will provide new impetus for occupational health and safety practices within the organisation and provide a framework of interacting elements that coordinate the Company's EHSQ programs in a comprehensive, systematic, planned and documented manner while maintaining compliance with statutory, regulatory, contractual and stakeholder requirements.

Works were sequenced efficiently to meet client development schedules, whilst ensuring that all services were either relocated and/or terminated to ensure site safety.

Synergy was engaged by the Department of Defence toremediate the former rifle range at Stockton, a large area ofLand in Fern Bay with areas of heritage significance. The former Department of Defence Rifle Range covers an area ofapproximately 111 hectares. Environmental investigations at the siteidentified; heavy metal contamination (predominantly lead), a hydrocarbonhotspot, and widespread fragments of asbestos cement material (ACM).

Koolkhan Power Station Demolition

Engaged by Essential Energy to complete remediation works, followed by the demolition of the former Koolkhan power station, Synergy successfully completed this project whilst accommodating sensitive receptor concerns and exceeding stakeholder expectations along the way.

Synergy was engaged by the Department of Defence to remediate the existing traverse walls that surround storehouses at an operational base in Southern Tasmania. Synergy performed remediation of soil reinforced, self-supportingstructures using specialised equipment to install the concrete canvasover each traverse wall before sealing the layers with a caulking agent andstainless steel fixings then hydrating the canvas to ensure a 80MPA rating.

Department of Defence engaged Synergy to conduct road maintenance, stop-butt lead remediation and installation of Range - Danger Area infrastructure. 6km of road required ripping and re-compacting the pavement surface, construction of new sections of unsealed road, reshaping and re-grading existing open drainage channels and installation of new culvert crossings within the operational BMTA site.

Synergy was engaged by Veolia to undertake water,sediment, sludge and land remediation at Ducos Landfillwhich services the entire city of Noumea. Ducos Landfill was in operation from 1963 and was overfilled, unlined,uncapped and unstable with primitive or non-existent leachate collectionfacilities. The waste disposed onsite included putrescibles, sewerage, oils,medical waste, building material, tyres and industrial mining waste.
